Therapeutic Handling Workshop
Introduction
This workshop is aimed at physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation assistants involved in using manual handling as a tool for rehabilitation. These professionals are exposed to unique risks resulting from the need to balance the client’s rehabilitation outcome with the manual handling risk to staff.The workshop provides a thorough overview of the legal and theoretical issues and explores relevant guidelines from the Charter Society of Physiotherapy and the College of Occupational Therapists, along with a review of safe systems of work, equipment and handling protocols.

There is a maximum of 8 places on this workshop and a minimum of 3.
