Our Story
Universal Safety Consultants (USC) began trading in 1990, originally as a division of Caduceus Ltd, a company owned by the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London. In 1994, USC became a Limited Company and has established itself as a premier provider of safety services.
USC initially specialised in providing Health and Safety Consultancy and Occupational Health Services to the medical and healthcare sector. In 1994, these services were extended to include Ergonomics and Moving & Handling Training, which were then marketed to all organisations.
In 2020, Salveo Safety, which provided Moving and Handling Training via a sister company, was absorbed into USC, further strengthening our moving and handling expertise.
Today, USC provides specialist fire safety and moving & handling consultancy and training services to a wide range of organisations across the UK.
