Synopsis
An intermediate Level 1 day workshop entitled Moving & Handling of Children for Therapy (Introduction). The course includes the theory of child handling as well as a practical workshop. Also includes a critique of manual handling techniques used in the rehabilitation of children. A refresher course is also available for those who have previously been trained but need to refresh their knowledge and practical skills.

Learning Objectives

- Be equipped to apply ergonomic principles to the reduction of risk in the rehab handling of children
- Have participated in a practical peer review of a relevant selection of manual handling techniques used in the rehabilitation of children
