Synopsis

This intermediate level half day course will refresh staff knowledge and practical skills in the safe handling of loads and children in a care or education setting.

  • Be aware of any changes under manual handling law
  • Be aware of any changes in the organisation’s policies relevant to manual handling of children
  • Have experience of using existing knowledge and skills in risk assessment and child handling to provide solutions to handling situations
